About Medford:
According to the 2000 census, Medford had a population of 1172 people, 480 households, and 380 families.
Medford is served by the Medford Public School system, which houses grades K-12.
Medford has a city library that is open Monday through Friday. It has a full time police department, a volunteer fire department, and has one of the few remaining rural ambulance services.

Medford Golf Course
Membership at the Medford Golf Course begins July 1st each year. Family memberships are $200.00 and include all children through college. Single Adult Memberships are also $200.00. Junior Memberships are $50.00 and are for students only. Membership includes only one member.
Non-members are encouraged and welcomed at the Medford Golf Course. Green Fees for non-members are $10.00. We encourage all non-members to sign in their attendance so we know who all is playing golf at our course.
If a golfer needs a golf cart, one can be rented at the course for $5.00 per rider for each nine holes. New carts were purchased in May 2008 and the carts are in great shape.
If golfers need a place to store their golf cart, rental spaces are available at the golf course. Prices vary depending on which building the cart is stored in and whether the cart is gas or electric.
The golf course has a club house which has restrooms for both men and women, and cold drinks for purchase.
The golf course is an amazing place with beautiful trees and nice green grass. Located less than a mile south of town, golfers enjoy the peacefulness of our wonderful nine hole golf course. It's a great place to relax and enjoy the great game of golf.
